About The Site

It is generally understood that life's greatest lessons lie within our own personal experiences. But that can, and often does, include witnessing someone else's experience that we identify with in some way. Maybe it's a shared feeling or a similar moment in time, or perhaps it simply stirs something inside us, suggesting what might be possible for ourselves. Potential can be elusive, lying just over the horizon, until we somehow alter our perspective, and then the view changes! Thus, we could all benefit from a willingness to observe and explore our own actions, thoughts, and behavior, always open to a fresh perspective, providing more clarity and letting us see a bit beyond that horizon. From that vantage point, potential can not only begin to appear, but also seem not so distant.

Could a closer look at those who've found that vantage point inspire others to do the same? I invite you to join me for real-life stories of personal growth and transformation. You'll witness the journeys of individuals who've managed to discover and unlock a version of themself that was always there to some degree, maybe suppressed by unwarranted fears or doubts, a misdirected self-identity or a distorted self-image, or perhaps restrained or oppressed by others. The struggles, hardships, and challenges faced may affect the viewer in multiple ways, but those effects are a sign of both empathy and appreciation, each a step toward growth in its own right. Moreover, if a story can evoke such reactions, then perhaps it could also result in a closer look at oneself and the previously unseen potential that may lie within.

Although entertaining by their very nature, each story is an example, intended to educate and inspire. Most will appear in feature article or series format, and may contain audio or video links where appropriate. Comments and questions are always welcome.
